Warning : The following article contains materials of lovey doviness and very little profesionallism in terms of career, so those who are only interested in reading about profesional work should proceed to the next entry or wait until I post the next serious materials. You've been warned...
I would like to proudly declare that today, it's been 5th months since I've been in a relationship with Afiqah binti Baharum. How time flies when your having fun. This relationship, more than anything has shown me that in a relationship, sacrifices and understanding of our partners are of utmost importance. There would be times when one has to be selfless in helping the other in her times of need. And vice versa. So to have a partner, who is not blood related to us, stick with us despite many hardships, is spectacular. I've always been the kind of guy who plays down his chances with girls. But when you are with the right person, they make you want to do things just to see a smile on her face. ;-)
Just like any other relationships, there are times when the relationship is put under the test by misunderstandings and arguments. That though, does not mean that the relationship is in trouble, in fact it is an opportunity for both parties to voice their discontent about certain issues. And resolve them. Because of the vast difference between the male and female species, it is only natural for them to have a different view of things. The most important thing i'm trying to tell all that's reading is that would you have the courage to fight your ego, and resolve the issue with your beloved? The reason your with that person in the first place is to see it through the end. So, always remember that sometimes people make mistakes, and it's okay to forgive them.
Unfortunately, since I am away from Serdang, this means that I can't celebrate with her which is unfortunate. But I always believe that we can always settle for the next best thing. So here's a cake with 5 candles on it. Thanks for all the great times we had and thank you in advance for all the great times we will be having together in many months and years to come!

My New Glasses
Good Day!
For those who did not notice, I've updated myself with new glasses, as my old one gave way after my innocent sister dropped her toy on me while i was asleep. The lens shattered, but luckily I'm alright. So here's the new one! Mind you it's not expensive! It's affordable! Probably because we were familiar with the shop owners

Time To Get Down And Dirty!
Good Day People!
Arif Fauzi here, reporting for duty!
As most or none may know, I've started my practical training these week. For the uninformed, practical training is where students are made to work with companies of their liking (or whomever willing to take them) for a period of 3 months. During these periods, students will be forced to indulge themselves in working in a real work situation, where deadlines are expected to be met and tough decisions are made. So yeah, thats kinda how I would like to describe it, thus the usage of the word practical, finally putting those theories thought by the likes of Prof. Abang and Ir. Azlan into practice. The consequences of failure and negligence is very real! Therefore, one have to take pride in the work itself.
And so there I was, in a regular Monday morning, finally woken up and dressed to impressed (kill would be wrong, as I'm trying to leave an impression!). Took me about 40 minutes to get to work, as I was still trying to familiarize with the roads that lead to my office in Wisma Goldhill, which is situated in Jalan Raja Chulan. It's a well designed building... but don't take my word for it, have a look!
My office is situated in the 17th floor, though written in the business card it's the 23rd. The company is called APL Asia Sdn. Bhd. A consultant that deals with Turrets that are used in the Oil and Gas industry, but that will be a story for another day ;-). There, I met with Karen, who is from the Human Resource Department, and Sharon, who is the secretary of the company. Very wonderful people, awfully polite and making me feel very welcome.
I was later brought to my cubicle, expecting nothing more but an empty table. How wrong I was, it was fully equipped with a computer! And it's a Dell! Good god! It's amazing! Already I feel right at home! It's so amazing that they provide so many equipments. It must mean they expect nothing but the best from their employees, which I hope i can meet their expectation.
Later i was introduced to everyone in the office but most importantly, to my supervisor, Deepak. He will be assisting me in the next 10 weeks on my task. He is the Head of the Structural Department. The structure of the organization is amazing! That is really all I can say because I'm not sure how much I can divulge to the public. I sure will do, If allowed, by my superiors..
As any first day would be, It became more and more hectic as I was given a safety briefing on the safety procedures of the company in case of an emergency. Well, to put it simply, just go down and save yourself if you don't feel comfortable. No, really!
I gotta say, when i finally came to my cubicle to sit down, here came another task in reading a guideline. It was a task that might take the whole period of me being there. Enthusiastically, I am looking forward to the next few months, where I will have my challenges. Hopefully, I can make it. Pray to god that it's a success
Enjoy Your Practical Training Buddies!
For Those On Holiday! Enjoy that too!
